One, extra food is available: a local business has good food left to share. Two, the Giver posts it: the business lists the available food on Hurry Up Produce. Three, the listing goes live: available food becomes visible to people and organizations looking for it. Four, a Taker finds it: a recipient finds an available listing nearby. Five, HUP makes the connection: pickup information allows the Giver and Taker to connect directly, with contact and pickup details shared securely. Six, food gets put to good use: the Taker picks it up, reducing waste and helping the community.
